About the role

Position Summary

Reworld is seeking a 2nd shift Shift Supervisor to support safe, efficient operations at our Metals Plant in Fairless Hills, PA. This role is responsible for overseeing plant operations during assigned shifts, leading frontline personnel, and ensuring production, safety, and environmental standards are consistently met.

2nd Shift - 2 -10:30PM

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate plant operations during assigned shift to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance

Lead, coach, and develop operations personnel; monitor performance and reinforce safety and operating standards

Maintain accurate operating logs and production records; communicate key updates to Operations leadership

Coordinate with maintenance, security, and other teams to support continuous plant operations

Initiate and support work requests for equipment repair and preventive maintenance

Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements, with strong emphasis on safety and environmental standards

Respond to abnormal operating conditions and initiate emergency procedures as needed to protect personnel, facility, and community

Maintain clear and timely communication across shifts, leadership, and team members

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications - Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related field preferred, or equivalent industrial experience

Minimum 1+ year of leadership experience (Supervisor or Lead) in a metals or industrial operations environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Working knowledge of plant equipment, processes, and operating procedures

Strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of applicable environmental and regulatory requirements

Ability to make sound, independent decisions in a fast-paced operations environment

Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively manage and resolve workplace issues

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work in industrial conditions, including heat, dust, noise, and vibration

Work Environment & Schedule

Rotating shifts required

Occasional weekend work required

Work performed in an industrial plant environment with varying physical conditions

The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $87,300.00 - $116,200.00 USD per annum
