We are seeking a
SHEQ Specialist - to support our growing team in
Mechanicville, NY. In this role, you'll play a key part in driving project excellence, collaborating with industry leaders, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across complex initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities- Review the SHEQ Plans for adherence to our Contractor Safety Program within the Project Management Plan.
- Responsible for field inspections and controls, Quality assessments, and administrative activities.
- Individuals can anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control occupational safety health hazards in construction environments.
- Responsible for field inspections, safety, and health orientations.
- Assess Permit conditions within construction certificates and environmental plans implementation along execution phase. Report any deviations and propose solutions to Customer.
- Oversee SHEQ activities to ensure conformance to the ISO certified Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
- Assist with training and communications of QMS and EMS processes and procedures.
Qualifications / Requirements- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Six Sigma, Quality Management System standards (i.e., ISO9001, TS-16949, etc.).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Environmental Management System standards (i.e., ISO 14001).
- Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years construction safety experience with a diverse project background - Completed an OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Construction Course.
- Experience in the functional area under which it will be contracted: Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro, and OSG.
Salary Range for Role $ 110,000 to 125,000
Compensation at PTAG varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
