The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Redondo Beach, CA location.

Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they are willing to work on-site.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Perform as a SharePoint Systems Administrator in support of classified government contracts.
  • Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
  • Interact with users and evaluate vendor products; make recommendations to purchase hardware and software.
  • Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
  • Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space.
  • Administration of Windows Systems within strict security policies and procedures.
  • Complete understanding and application on principles, concepts, practices, and standards as related to Windows OS.
  • Creating accurate, detailed technical procedures and installation instructions.
  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
  • Prepare security documentation for submission to the regulatory agencies as required.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with engineering users, other system administrators, and computer/facility organizations.
  • The ability to multi-task, along with good verbal and written communication skills, are a must.
  • Represent organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
  • Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Develop and deliver presentations.
  • Perform fairly complex tasks and participate in determining objectives of assignment.
  • Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives; work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
  • Raises issues that require senior level attention or involvement.
  • Lifts and moves equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Work after hours, and weekends, as needed.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

  • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 9 years of experience is required
  • Must have a Security+ certification (or greater) in order to be considered
  • Candidates must have a current US Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered and have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Top Secret clearance as a condition of continued employment
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of employment
  • Work experience with Microsoft 365, Office 365 administration, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Experience Windows Server operating systems, PowerShell scripting, and SQL Server databases
  • Experience with SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks

  • Master's Degree with 6 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 12 years of experience is required
  • Must have a Security+ certification (or greater) in order to be considered
  • Candidates must have a current US Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered and have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Top Secret clearance as a condition of continued employment
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of employment
  • Work experience with Microsoft 365, Office 365 administration, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Experience Windows Server operating systems, PowerShell scripting, and SQL Server databases

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Active Top Secret, TS/SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph
  • Experienced Windows Server Administration to include, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and other services
  • Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments
  • Experienced with networking, including subnets, routing, VLANs and VTCs; Cisco experience and/or certification
  • Experienced in the creation, maintenance, and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environment
  • Experience working in virtualized environments
  • Deploy and maintain Backup solutions (Cohesity, Vertias, etc) and SAN storage systems
  • Experience with environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk)
  • Experience in scripting and automation
  • Operating System Cross-platform awareness (i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
  • Experience with Assessment & Authorization processes

Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
