We currently have a career opportunity for ServiceNowTechnical Architect to join our team

The Technical Architect provides technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. As a Technology Architect, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. This role is considered part of the Business Unit Leadership team and may mentor Junior Architects and /or development team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ServiceNow architectural solutions and design guidance to project execution teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and best-practice implementations across the platform.
  • Lead ServiceNow architecture assessments and develop target-state architectures, strategies, and roadmaps aligned to business and IT objectives.
  • Define and maintain ServiceNow reference architectures covering ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, ITOM, HRSD (as applicable), integrations, and data models.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution designs, configuration standards, and governance guidelines.
  • Partner with application developers, platform engineers, business stakeholders, operations leadership, and subject matter experts to understand current and future operational, reporting, and analytics requirements.
  • Recommend and design modern ServiceNow-based technology stacks, including platform capabilities, integrations, and data strategies, and guide engineering teams through migration and adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with customer IT operations and technology leadership to define future-state ServiceNow and analytics goals; design the supporting technical architecture and advise teams on efficient, scalable platform usage.
  • Ensure architectural alignment with ServiceNow best practices, CSDM, CMDB health, & integration patterns
  • Lead a workstream or act as a technical team lead, managing defined components of the project plan and ensuring architectural integrity throughout delivery.
  • Apply strong analytical, process, and technical skills to deliver project outcomes in a self-directed manner and within defined scope.
  • Provide architectural oversight related to AI-enabled ServiceNow capabilities, demonstrating a solid understanding of AI opportunities, limitations, and ethical considerations.
  • Support governance, design reviews, and architectural decision-making to ensure long-term platform sustainability and extensibility.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support client and project needs.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall IT consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise and solution architecture, including the use of industry-standard architectural frameworks.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations and support, including ITSM, ITAM, and CMDB.
  • Strong experience and deep understanding of CMDB and CSDM concepts and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience integrating external systems with ServiceNow using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Working experience with Glide API and JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including MID Servers, CMDB, and integration frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
  • Solid knowledge of the ITIL framework and IT service management best practices.
    Architecture, Delivery & Leadership
  • Proven ability to define and design new architectures and independently drive projects from an architectural standpoint.
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, implementation, and ongoing support.
  • Demonstrated success in technical leadership roles, delivering high-quality solutions within defined timelines.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work efforts.
  • Experience developing solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex and/or large-scale consulting engagements.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to practice development activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Certifications:
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
    • ServiceNow CIS-ITSM
    • ServiceNow CIS-Data Foundations

    Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
  • Working knowledge of ITOM, including Discovery, Cloud Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms and intelligent automation capabilities.
  • ITIL Certification

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090.
