Full Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business process owners and stakeholders to address process improvement and drive efficiency within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Liaison between the business partners and the IT group to support ServiceNow and provide analysis for systems implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.

  • Perform analysis of key requirements and clearly communicate alternatives and recommendations to decision-makers.

  • Documenting business and functional/technical specifications for ServiceNow(ITSM / HRSD)system development and enhancements based on user requirements.

  • Discuss functional and the solution aspects of a project effectively along with being able to understand and evaluate the challenges.

  • Participate, influence, and drive cross-functional projects thatimpactvarious IT and Business processes.

  • Work as a member of a project team on building new functionality and /or enhancing existing functionality. Technical tasks can include being able toidentifydata needs from various systems, custom reporting, developing requirements documents, and data mapping,identifyintegration points, and process flow documentation.

  • Work across multiple projects & tasks and successfully prioritize and deliver results in the face of competing business interests.

  • Proactively refine upstream solutions to avoid downstream business or IT process and data issues.

  • Preparation and execution of test plans to ensure high quality results.

  • Managing and coordinating Regression and User acceptance testing with the users

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Technology, related or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 4 years experience with business analysis and the ServiceNow platform

  • Minimum 2 years experience with clients (internal or external) gathering requirements, solution design, process improvements, etc.

  • ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) and any additional ServiceNow certifications.

  • ITIL v4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader Certification

  • Extensive experience in process improvement and process management competencies.

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint) for functional requirements gathering & modeling techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Agile Scrum experience

  • Demonstrated ability in consultative capabilities by providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems by focusing on providing options which identify the pros and cons of those options plus the risks and impacts of each option.

  • Experience in a high-growth environment collaborating with innovative cross-functional teams and problem-solvers.Ability to work independently as well as engaging and contributing to teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3rd party software experience (Workday and CRM) a plus

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Illinois residents and New York residents the compensation range for this position: $146,900 - $168,900. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
