About the Role

As a QA Analyst , you will make an impact by ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow delivery team and work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. In this role, you will:
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate ServiceNow solutions.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and user interface testing across web and mobile platforms.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify defects while partnering with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze requirements and system specifications to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve quality.
  • Validate release readiness by assessing test coverage, results, and potential business impacts.
  • Support Agile delivery teams throughout sprint planning, testing, and release activities.
  • Proactively identify risks, recommend improvements, and contribute to quality assurance best practices.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
  • Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and defect management processes.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

These Will Help You Stand Out
  • Experience testing ServiceNow applications and workflows.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Scrum or Agile-related certifications.
  • Experience working directly with clients in consulting or enterprise delivery environments.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $86,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
