Job Description
  • Performs software engineering activities in support of the Program Executive Office (PEO) to drive transformative change in IT resource planning and execution using the Acquisition and Budget Management (ABM) Tool and the ServiceNow platform as part of overall transformation efforts to provide innovative, emergent, and continual business process and enterprise IT solution improvements to the DCSA OCIO environment IAW DoD and DCSA OCIO policies, procedures, and data standards.
  • As part of an Agile team, uses a tailored SAFe Agile DevSecOps Scrum process to design, develop, document, test, and debug ServiceNow software.
  • Transforms and integrates software applications using innovative solutions to solve identified problems.
  • Prepares operating instructions and ensures software standards are met.
  • Investigates and applies analytics best practices to deliver Dashboards within ServiceNow to convey digestible and interactive graphics for more informed decision-making capabilities.
  • Performs architecture design, prototyping, proofs of concept, development of standards and test plans, code and module design, and data solution debugging.
  • Performs testing for movement from development to production.
  • Ensures existence of backup and recovery capabilities, as well as disaster recovery/business continuity plans and other procedure and system documentation.
  • Remains abreast of, implements, and executes processes for complying with Government data and security standards.
  • Researches, suggests, and implements emerging technologies, services, and protocols.
  • The ServiceNow Developer will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform with a particular focus on managing workflows, tracking development stories, ensuring knowledgebase and SOP updates, and supporting help desk incident ticket resolution. The developer will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to enhance system capabilities and optimize IT service management processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience from an accredited college/university.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience working in an Agile or Scrum software development environment.
  • Familiarity with implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages.
  • Prior experience in Government Systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Knowledge Management and workflow automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
