Full Job Description
What will you do?

The BMS Service Specialist III position is responsible for learning how to understand project/service requirements such as specifications, standards, schedules, and safety. Participates in project/service activities on site related to the coordination, installation, and commissioning of building automation and security management systems. This employee typically works under daily supervision of a Project Manager or Project Engineer and reports to the Construction Manager or Operations Manager as org chart allows.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience with performing a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection.
  • Technician must be able to work on his/her own and/or with others when needed.
  • Be customer-friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable.
  • Familiar with Package units, split systems, RTU's, and mini-splits.
  • Familiar with electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
  • Familiar with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Ability to communicate with the team and with customers.
  • Must comply with all safety standards and processes.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work in close spaces

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

  • Must have HS - Associate or tech school
  • 5+ years experience working with HVAC/Access Control systems
  • installing and servicing low voltage controllers, working with field devices including temperature, humidity, static, pneumatic, electronic actuators and valves, and be able to configure and calibrate systems.
