Description
Service Project Managers ensure the overall success of a project, including the safe planning of resources, equipment, and budgeting projections of fuel service-related projects. They also ensure the project is executed with the highest standards of quality and meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Negotiate pricing and schedule subcontractors in accordance with the preferred supplier list and review subcontractor invoices and approve for payment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and state/local codes
- Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from state and/or local authorities
- Confirm site surveys are dispatched & completed in a timely manner
- Develop and manage project budgets
- Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed per quotation & project scope
- Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered & delivered according to schedule
- Ensure accurate inventory for tools & equipment throughout project
- Prepare verbal and/or written reports regarding project status
- Confirm heavy maintenance technicians assigned to projects have the necessary skills to complete assigned work
- Collaborate with Project Estimator, Service Manager, Sales, Supply Chain, subcontractors, and key team members of the project team
- Conduct site checks to monitor safety, job progress and quality standards
- Resolve any problems that may arise during project execution
- Ensure project deadlines are met
- Communicate effectively to all stakeholders the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly
- Conduct post-completion review of project quality & financial results with Project Estimator, Service Manager, and/or Regional Service Director
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years of experience working with retail fueling sites and fuel dispensing equipment
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role with responsibility for direct reports and projects
- At least 2 years of experience managing project budgets
- At least 1 year of experience ordering construction materials and equipment
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
- Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day

Salary Description
$75,000 - $97,000 per year, DOE
