Description
ROLE PURPOSE
The Service Parts Planning & Systems Analyst is responsible for optimizing service parts availability, inventory, and planning execution through advanced forecasting and analytic tools to produce 'the forecast' which will in turn be executed using company's JD Edwards ERP system. Stated simply, this position is the key resource in generating the plan that ensures we have the right parts, in the right place, at the right time supporting our Field Services Technician (FSE).
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
• Generating and managing forecasts for Field Replacement Units (FRU), Field Service Small Parts Spares, and Repair Kits.
• Maintain system planning parameters within the Baxter System.
• Identify opportunities to optimization inventory between the Distribution Center, Forward Stocking Locations, and FSE Van Stock. Assist in developing KPIs necessary to data-driven decision making.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Business Intelligence or related field preferred).
• Strong ERP knowledge: JDE/ Oracle preferred.
• 3-7+ years of experience in supply chain forecast and demand planning using data analytic tools such as Zoho. MS Power BI, Tableau, Baxter, Domo, Looker, etc. AND ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle JDE, Oracle Fusion Cloud, etc.
• Experience in field service parts planning a plus.
• Proven success in improving forecast accuracy and inventory performance using planning tools and data analysis.
• Experience in a global or multi-region supply chain environment preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Advanced analytical skills with Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookups) and database tools.
• Data extraction & analysis (Large datasets).
• Power BI or similar BI tools (dashboard development).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts.
• Ownership and accountability for planning outcomes.
• Detail-oriented with high data accuracy standards.
• Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
