Responsibilities

  • Recruit and retain skilled personnel while addressing customer concerns personally
  • Collaborate with Parts and Sales departments for overall store success

Location: Vacaville, CA 95687 Compensation: $100,000 - $225,000/year Job Type: Full-Time
Lead the Fixed Ops Team at a Growing Solano County Store

If you've got a track record of driving profitability, developing advisors and techs, and running a tight, efficient shop, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Own
  • Run day-to-day service department operations start to finish
  • Drive labor sales, technician productivity, and profitability through disciplined process
  • Coach and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, and Dispatch - day in, day out
  • Own CSI, manufacturer metrics, and online reputation
  • Manage scheduling, workflow, and shop capacity so nothing sits idle
  • Dig into the numbers - review financials and KPIs and act on what you find
  • Stay compliant with manufacturer standards, warranty requirements, OSHA, and California labor law
  • Recruit, hire, train, and keep good people
  • Handle escalated customer concerns personally and professionally
  • Work closely with Parts and Sales so the whole store wins together
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of dealership fixed ops management experience
  • A real understanding of how a service department makes money
  • Proven results - gross profit, CSI, tech efficiency, department performance
  • Experience managing a full team of advisors and technicians
  • Strong communicator who leads by example, not just by title
  • Comfortable in a DMS (DealerTrack experience a plus)
