Mission

We're looking for a hands-on Engineer to install, operate and maintain our cutting-edge Proton Therapy System (PTS). You'll troubleshoot issues, perform routine and corrective maintenance, support hardware/software testing, and contribute to system upgrades and inspections. Your work will directly support clinical operations and global system performance.

  • Build trusted relationships with clinical staff by serving as a dependable technical advisor, providing expertise, clear communication, and responsive support throughout the treatment day.
  • Become an integral member of the local service team by sharing knowledge, supporting teammates during critical situations, maintaining operational flexibility, and contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Represent the company professionally as the primary technical point of contact for the customer site.
  • Balance technical expertise with empathy and professionalism when supporting clinicians during high-pressure patient care situations.
  • Operate, maintain, and optimize the Proton Therapy System throughout all phases of deployment, including QA, EHS, development, testing, validation, and clinical operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, software, and integrated system issues.
  • Partner with Engineering and R&D to identify opportunities that improve equipment reliability, serviceability, usability, and overall clinical performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, system upgrades, and scheduled inspections.
  • Communicate system status, risks, and recovery plans clearly and professionally to customers, leadership, and internal support teams.
  • Support hardware and software testing while minimizing disruption to clinical operations.
  • Participate in unit, integration, validation, and acceptance testing activities.
  • Mentor new team members, subcontractors, and field engineers while fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Train customers on the safe, effective, and efficient operation of the Proton Therapy System.

Approximate Salary Range: Approx. $80,000 - $95,000
