Full Job Description
is seeking a results-driven and highly experienced Service Director to lead and scale our service operations across our four branches (Lethbridge, Pincher Creek, Strathmore and Nisku).

Role Overview

As a senior leader within the organization, the Service Director will be responsible for the overall performance and profitability of service operations across all branches while setting a standard of consistency for operational excellence in technician productivity, customer experience, and process execution. This role is ideal for a proven leader in heavy, agricultural, or compact equipment who thrives in multi-branch operations and continuous improvement.

While the Service Director will be expected to live and work in Lethbridge, regular presence and travel across all branches will be required. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit plan.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead multi-branch service operations, driving consistency, accountability, and performance across all locations
  • Develop and coach service leaders, including Service Managers and shop teams, to achieve operational and financial targets
  • Drive operational excellence through standardized processes (WIP, scheduling, workflow, shop efficiency)
  • Own financial performance, including P&L, labour margin, productivity, absorption and cost control
  • Grow service revenue through maintenance programs, customer initiatives and improved uptime
  • Oversee technician development and workforce planning, including training, apprenticeships and performance management
  • Enhance customer experience, ensuring high service standards, communication and responsiveness
  • Ensure OEM compliance and warranty performance, including claims accuracy and alignment with manufacturer programs
  • Strengthen cross-department collaboration to improve efficiency and support business growth


Qualifications & Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in service operations leadership from the heavy equipment, agriculture or compact equipment industry
  • Proven leadership ability and teambuilding skills to effectively lead teams through operational execution, change and growth
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-location teams
  • Strong financial acumen with direct P&L responsibility
  • Strong understanding of technician workflow, shop operations and service systems
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills with continuous improvement pedigree
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees
  • A valid Driver's License and satisfactory completion of a criminal and credit background check
