DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a
Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at
Roy, UT to support the
Sentinel (GBSD) Program in the
Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities- Interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements
- Apply Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT)
- Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks include: establishment of Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled, assessment and maintenance of objective performance criteria, maintenance and justifications of estimates to complete, and support to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
- Funding analysis, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility report
- Preparation or review of government cost performance reports, performance measurement variance analysis, and of estimates to complete
- Support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration
- Support preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC
- Perform and/or assist in financial performance analyses and visibility
- Setup, monitoring, and controlling program costs and schedules
- Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters
- Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work
- Incorporating contracts changes into control systems
- Estimate and completion and forecast related activities
- Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as required
Basic Qualifications- Requires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 1 year; or 6 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Including pivot tables and v look up)
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications- Active DoD Secret level security clearance
- Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
- Experience working in Deltek Cobra
- Strong analytical ability with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines.

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
