RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector is looking for a Support Equipment Integration Manager 3 to support the Launch Systems (LS) in our SDS Division. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program where Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You Will Get To Do: Lead Launch Systems (LS) integration efforts for Sentinel support equipment and prototypes, reporting to LS Support Equipment Operating Unit (OU) Lead. Responsibilities include leadership over system support equipment and training systems areas. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Launch Systems Support Equipment Operating Unit (OU) Integration Lead. Will be the OU single point focal for ensuring and facilitating coordination between the Support Equipment OU IPTs and stakeholders to ensure prototype and EMD design, build, and test execution is effectively integrated and executed between product teams. This leader is also expected to interface and communicate with executive and senior leaders on status and progress from product teams and supporting organizations and stakeholders. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. You’ll Bring These Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 8 years of related experience, or 6 years with Masters • Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years • Experienced with technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk Preferred Qualifications: • Demonstrated Strategic Planning experience • Demonstrated ICBM development and sustainment experience • Demonstrated Test Campaign Leadership • Prior experience interfacing with and presenting to prime contractor senior leadership, site leads and USAF leadership personnel • INCOSE Systems Engineering Certification • Project Management Professional Certification • Experience managing the performance of assigned tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience formally leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal. These teams include: o Systems Engineering o Test Planning and Execution o Program Management o Supplier Management • Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving results influencing and managing people and understanding and management of internal processes and customer/supplier relationships. • Strong understanding and broad application of engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) • Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations and Executive Leadership presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
