Qualifications

• 10-20 years of wastewater engineering experience covering planning, design, permitting, and construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biological Engineering with a required PE license (or ability to obtain within six months).
• Solid understanding of local, state, and federal regulations affecting wastewater projects.
• Proven ability to lead and manage interdisciplinary teams to meet client objectives.
• Expertise in technical analysis, treatment process sizing, and development of design criteria.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and organizational skills with proficiency in MS Office.
• Preferred: Advanced degree and experience with large-scale projects, contract negotiation, and client development.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and design activities for wastewater projects.
• Develop technical treatment strategies and select appropriate treatment processes.
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis and prepare construction documents.
• Prepare technical reports and support construction management and commissioning.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and external design professionals for project delivery.
• Supervise, mentor, and train staff while fostering multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Lead business development efforts including client relations, project pursuits, and scope development.
