In the role of Wastewater Professional Engineer, we'll count on you to:- Coordinate the work of the wastewater design team through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a project
- Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
- Coordinate workload to complete the document on schedule
- Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines
- Review process mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
- Write and edit process mechanical specifications, select equipment, treatment systems, and devices
- Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents
- Provide construction contract administration as needed
- Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Wastewater Process Mechanical Project Engineers, Project Coordinators or CAD Technicians as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering field
- 10+ years of experience with municipal or industrial wastewater treatment and treatment process design
- Experience working on municipal wastewater projects
- Experience working on food and beverage, manufacturing, life sciences, semiconductor, data center, or other industrial wastewater projects
- Experience working on large multidisciplinary wastewater projects
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- A minimum of 10 years experience with Municipal Water and Wastewater Systems Planning and Design
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
- Strong technical background and experience in designing water distribution systems
- Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation and hydraulic modeling software
- Project Engineering and Project Management experience is necessary
