Role:Senior Video &Content ProductionManager

At Guardant Health, clear, credible, and compelling communication is essential to advancing our mission to conquer cancer through data, innovation, and collaboration.

The SeniorVideo &Content Production Managerwill lead the planning, development, and execution of engaging multimedia content that advances Guardant’smission, amplifies executive thought leadership, and brings our impact to life through visual storytelling. This role combines content strategy, video production, and creative leadership to deliver high-quality content across corporate, social, digital, and other communications channels.

Working closely with Corporate Communications,Investor Relations, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and executive leadership, this individual will identify compelling stories, manage production from concept through distribution, and create content that helps audiences to help understand with Guardant’s story.

This role is designed to build Guardant Health's internal content production capabilities. The successful candidate will be a hands-on creator who can independently develop high-quality content from concept through final delivery while strategicallyleveragingexternal agency partners to scale production for larger campaigns and specialized projects. Over time, this individual will help establishand grow an in-house content studio that enables faster, more efficient, and more authentic storytelling across the company.

The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, experienced content producer, and strong operator who can translate complex scientific and healthcare topics into engaging, audience-centric content. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that requires exceptional organizational skills, creative judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

WhatYou’llDo

Video Content Development & Production

  • Lead the development and execution of short-form and long-form video content across corporate, executive, social, digital, and external communications channels.

  • Identifycompelling stories across the organization and transform them into engaging multimedia content that supports Guardant Health's strategic priorities.

  • Develop creative concepts, storyboards, scripts, interview guides, and production plans for a wide range of content initiatives.

  • Produce content including:

  • Executive thought leadership videos

  • Impact stories

  • Product and innovation features

  • Conference and event coverage

  • External communications videos

  • Corporate brand storytelling

  • Social-first video content

  • Capture and/or oversee video production activities, including interviews, events, executive content, and field-based storytelling opportunities.

  • Lead content production using internal tools and resources, serving as a hands-on creator capable of independently producing high-quality content from concept through delivery.

  • Manage and direct external production agencies, freelance creatives, videographers, editors, and other partners to scale content production for larger initiatives, specialized projects, and peak workloads.

  • Build scalable production workflows that balance in-house content creation with strategic agency support, enabling greater speed, efficiency, and creative flexibility.

  • Edit andoptimizecontent for multiple platforms and audiences, ensuring content is engaging, accessible, and aligned with channel best practices.

  • Ensure all content aligns withGuardant’sbrand standards, messaging framework, and visual identity.

  • Maintain and organize video assets, footage libraries, templates, and production resources to enable scalable content development.

Content Strategy & Storytelling

  • Partner closely with Corporate Communications, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Investor Relations, and executive stakeholders to develop integrated content plans aligned with business priorities.

  • Translate complex scientific, medical, and healthcare topics into clear, engaging, and audience-focused narratives.

  • Support major company milestones, including product launches, medical conferences, earnings communications, corporate announcements, executive visibility programs, and industry events through strategic content development.

  • Collaborate with Digital & Social Media teams to align content creation with campaignobjectives, audience engagement goals, and platform best practices.

  • Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific assets, including social clips, executive highlights, event recaps, and multimedia storytelling formats.

  • Maintain an integrated content calendar that provides visibility into upcoming content opportunities, campaigns, and key corporate moments.

  • Use data, audience feedback, and stakeholder input to continuously improve storytelling quality and content effectiveness.

Operational Excellence

  • Own end-to-end content operations, managing production timelines, stakeholder alignment, approvals, budgets, and delivery across multiple initiatives.

  • Build and continuously improve scalable workflows, production processes, templates, and intake systems that enable efficient, high-quality content creation.

  • Develop and manage content calendars, production schedules, digital asset libraries, and project tracking systems that provide visibility across teams.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize work, manage resources, and ensure content initiatives align with businessobjectives.

  • Identifyopportunities to improve production efficiency,optimizecreative workflows, and enhance collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

  • Evaluate and implement AI-powered workflows that improve the speed, scalability, and efficiency of content production while ensuring human oversight, content accuracy, and brand integrity.

  • Helpestablishand evolve Guardant Health's in-house content studio by building the processes, governance, and operating model needed to scale content production over time.

Social Media & Digital Content

  • Partner with Digital & Social Media teams to create engaging contentoptimizedfor LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms.

  • Support executive amplification programs through the creation of social-first video and multimedia content.

  • Develop content tailored to platform-specific audience behaviors and best practices.

  • Stay informed on evolving content trends, storytelling formats, and digital engagement strategies.

  • Support rapid-response content opportunities and real-time storytelling around key company moments.

Education

  • Typicallybachelorswith ~12+ years (or 8+ with masters / 5+ with PhD / 3+ with PharmD/MD).Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Production, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related fieldrequired(or equivalent experience).
