Job Summary

The SVP - Operations is responsible for the oversight, management, and coordination of all the desal and brackish water assets, plant operations, and all department personnel for Seven Seas Water Operations based in Tampa with locations throughout the Caribbean and Panama and Peru.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Champion the adoption of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) best practices and foster a high-performance, positive EHS culture across all operations.
• Assume ownership of the operations strategy, including developing, updating, and maintaining a comprehensive operations plan that supports all customer contracts and company business objectives.
• Provide executive oversight of site operations to ensure contractual compliance while driving improvements in revenue, profitability, asset uptime, and required product water quality.
• Lead the development and ongoing use of AI-enabled operational performance dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to communicate results and ensure world-class operational performance.
• Serve as a senior interface with customers to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and to position Seven Seas Water as a premium service provider differentiated from competitors.
• Oversee the performance, deployment, and compliance of all operations employees and contractors, ensuring adherence to labor laws, contract requirements, and the efficient use of resources.
• Build and sustain a positive, inclusive, and performance-oriented culture that establishes Seven Seas Water as an employer of choice.
• Develop, manage, and control operational budgets, including operating expenditures and capital investment (CapEx), with accountability for financial performance.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and overall performance.
• Partner with finance and other corporate functions to ensure the seamless execution of operational transactions, including accounting, forecasting, staffing actions, contractual matters, regulatory and permitting requirements, leasing, subcontracting, and operational reporting.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering organization to provide operational feedback that informs the design of safer, more reliable, and more efficient plants aligned with customer and company requirements.
• Direct the field services organization to ensure technical service requirements are met and that environmental, health, and safety standards are executed effectively and efficiently.
• Own and drive the performance of preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset reliability and lifecycle value.
• Ensure rigorous contract compliance through disciplined attention to operational detail and governance

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in the water industry in operations management or senior operational leadership role.
• Comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of seawater and brackish water desalination technologies, as well as wastewater treatment processes.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, to visit operational sites and conduct in-depth reviews of facility performance.
• Experience working within a multinational organization is strongly preferred, including direct oversight of operations across multiple countries and regions.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and credibly with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executives, company shareholders, engineers, field service technicians, plant operators, and frontline personnel, including individuals facing cultural or language barriers.
• Professional proficiency in English is required, with bilingual capability in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficient use of Microsoft Office and Outlook, with demonstrated experience developing executive-level presentations using PowerPoint and other presentation or marketing-oriented tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and professional documentation and reports.
• Must possess a valid U.S. passport or authorized U.S. work/residency status, with no restrictions that would prevent obtaining international travel visas as required.
