The Opportunity

Lead with Impact - Shape the Future of Earth & Environment in Western Canada

Step into a rare leadership opportunity to guide one of Canada's most established and high-performing Earth & Environment (E&E) businesses. As Senior Vice President, Earth & Environment - British Columbia & Yukon, you will lead a thriving practice of approximately 4,200 engineers, scientists, and technicians delivering over $115M in annual revenue.

Your Impact
  • Set and execute the strategic direction for the business, driving long-term, sustainable growth across all regional markets
  • Strengthen executive-level client relationships and expand market presence by growing key accounts and pursuing new opportunities
  • Own full P&L accountability, including financial planning, forecasting, and delivering consistent, high-quality business performance
  • Drive operational excellence across project delivery, ensuring strong margin performance, effective risk management, and accurate cost and schedule execution
  • Lead complex pursuits and negotiations, defining commercial strategies and contract frameworks that position WSP for success
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture, developing and retaining top talent while aligning teams to shared goals and priorities
  • Collaborate across sectors to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary solutions that maximize value for clients and communities
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement, including the adoption of digital solutions and alternative commercial models to advance service delivery

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience (15+ years) leading and growing an Earth & Environment or similar consulting business
  • Proven ability to drive sustainable growth by expanding market presence and strengthening client relationships
  • Strong track record of delivering consistent financial performance and business results
  • Demonstrated executive leadership presence with a reputation for integrity, sound judgment, and credibility
  • Experience fostering a strong safety culture and leading with a commitment to Health & Safety excellence
  • Exceptional people leadership skills, with a track record of building inclusive, high-performing teams and developing top talent
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to align stakeholders, drive decisions, and inspire teams toward shared goals

Compensation

All regions across Canada: Salary for this position starts at $265,000
