Senior User Interface Developer who shares our drive to push boundaries and build secure, data-driven applications that make a real difference.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of systems engineers, software engineers, and fellow UI developers. You will be responsible for translating complex customer requirements into functional, performant, and appealing user interfaces deployed within an enterprise workflow platform. Leveraging Angular 20 and incorporating Pega Constellation UI components, you will actively participate in User Experience (UX) analysis, design, and prototyping to maximize usability and deliver an optimal end-user experience.
Location & Work Environment- Primary Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
- Work Style: On-site with up to 2 days per week of telework flexibility available!
Compensation & Benefits- Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 (USD) base annual salary. Actual compensation offered may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Required Skills- Clearance: Active Fully-Cleared with Poly.
- Core UI Development: Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience performing in a User Interface Developer role for a software development team.
- Frontend Frameworks: Direct, hands-on development experience utilizing Angular 20+.
- Core Web Technologies: Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- API Integration: Proven experience interfacing frontend interfaces seamlessly with RESTful back-end APIs.
- UX/UI Principles: Practical experience translating requirement sets into scalable, visually appealing, and highly functional prototypes.
Education & Experience- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as a UI/Software Developer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Substitution: Four (4) years of additional relevant software experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree (totaling 9 years of experience).
Desired Skills- Monorepo Architecture: Familiarity with managing and configuring development environments using NX Smart Monorepos.
- Compliance & Accessibility: Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements and implementing compliant design solutions.
