Job Function/Purpose
The Senior Treasury Analyst serves as the functional backbone of the Treasury department, owning the day-to-day execution of global treasury operations while developing toward a people leadership role. The position ensures operational continuity and process excellence across cash management, payments, forecasting, and banking administration, while increasingly acting as a team lead, mentor, and project driver. Expected to exercise independent judgment, manage junior analysts, and serve as the primary point of escalation for operational issues.

Responsibilities:
Operational Ownership
Own and oversee the daily global cash position reporting process; review and approve analyst-prepared reports before management distribution.
Oversee the initiation and approval of electronic fund transfers; serve as backup approver for high-value or exception payments.
Manage and review daily cash reconciliation, ensuring timely resolution of breaks and escalation of systemic issues.
Lead the monthly global treasury calls across all entities and currencies, coordinating with regional finance teams.
Perform and review monthly analysis of bank fees; identify optimization opportunities and present findings to the Assistant Treasurer.
Lead the development and continuous refinement of the global 13-week cash forecast model, including regional stakeholder coordination.
Oversee bank account administration globally, including signatory updates, new account openings/closures, and KYC compliance.
People Leadership & Development
Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and workflow oversight to junior analysts.
Identify training needs and facilitate knowledge transfer across the team to improve depth and reduce key-person dependency.
Foster a collaborative, high-accountability team culture consistent with Victaulic's values.
Strategic Support & Projects
Lead quarterly Treasury Scorecard review.
Lead and push banking partners for annual review of banking Scorecard.
Serve as project lead for treasury-specific initiatives (e.g., banking system implementations, process automation, policy updates), managing junior treasury analysts when necessary.
Assist in the development and maintenance of Treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls documentation.
Champion the identification and implementation of automation and AI-driven solutions across established treasury processes; evaluate tools and workflows to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase operational efficiency. Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes):
5+ years of corporate treasury or finance experience required; direct supervisory or mentoring experience preferred.
CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation preferred or active pursuit encouraged.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a high-volume, global environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort working with large, multi-currency data sets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clearly to senior finance leadership.
Advanced Excel proficiency required; TMS (Treasury Management System) and ERP experience (SAP preferred) a plus.
High degree of integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.
Collaborative and team-oriented, with the maturity to influence without authority and lead through example.
