Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technology Training Specialist to plan, develop, and deliver hands-on instructor-led training and supporting documentation for commercially available and proprietary software applications. The role focuses on technical training, instructional design, technical documentation, training videos, adult learning principles, and Microsoft Office applications. The ideal candidate will manage training initiatives from planning through delivery while creating clear, professional training materials and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, develop, and deliver hands-on instructor-led training for commercially available and proprietary software applications.
• Develop technical documentation, training videos, and instructional design modules.
• Deliver customer training programs using adult learning principles.
• Manage training projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Develop Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, web content, and other technical documentation.
• Develop video and interactive recorded training to support technical processes.
• Coordinate multiple tasks, resources, and stakeholders while managing concurrent training initiatives and deadlines.
• Communicate project plans, status, and updates to the Contract Manager.
• Identify and troubleshoot user-defined challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
• Create professional training materials and documentation that support effective software adoption.
• Apply instructional design and adult learning methodologies to training programs and materials.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of technology training experience.
• 3+ years of technical documentation experience.

• Experience creating Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, web content, and similar technical documentation.
• Relevant technology training, instructional design, technical writing, or related certifications.
• Experience applying adult learning methodologies to technology training programs.

Work Environment
• Hybrid work schedule with two onsite days per week in Annapolis, MD.
• Ability to report onsite within 24 hours when required.
• Remote work is generally required to be performed within the United States.
