Full Job Description
The Senior Technology Implementation Professional supports the delivery of scalable data solutions that allow Finance business priorities while aligning with enterprise data strategy.

You will work across a range of initiatives, translating business requirements into governed, production-ready data solutions. The Senior Technology Implementation Professional partners with business and technology teams to support data implementation efforts, ensure adherence to enterprise standards, and allow trusted data for analytics, reporting, and operational use.

You will contribute to the development of cloud-first data solutions, data governance practices, and foundational data capabilities leveraging industry best practices. Responsibilities include supporting implementation efforts across Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Reference Data Management while participating in the development of data assets within Databricks.

This position is ideal for a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams and can explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. You will prepare project updates, recommendations, and implementation documentation that support informed decision-making.

The Senior Technology Implementation Professional gathers and translates business and data requirements into scalable solutions, supporting system design efforts to ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and governance requirements.

You will contribute to implementation activities throughout the delivery lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, testing, validation, and production readiness. Working with business stakeholders and IT partners, the Senior Technology Implementation Professional helps ensure solutions satisfy business, operational, and control requirements, while beginning to influence department strategy.

You will contribute to Databricks development activities such as data transformations, table creation, optimization, and testing. The individual partners with IT teams to support successful implementation and transition to production support.

The Senior Technology Implementation Professional identifies process improvements, implementation risks, and data capability gaps, providing recommendations to project teams and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and technology teams to define, implement, monitor, and remediate Data Quality controls and rules for critical Finance data assets.
  • Support metadata management practices including business glossary development, data lineage documentation, data catalog onboarding, stewardship alignment, and governance compliance.
  • Assist with onboarding and operationalization of reference data domains by partnering with data stewards and platform teams to establish governance processes, ownership structures, and lifecycle management practices.
  • Conduct analysis and rapid prototyping activities to validate business requirements and support solution design.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect remediation, and post-production validation activities.
  • Support project planning, implementation sequencing, risk identification, and issue resolution activities.
  • Research and apply industry-leading practices related to cloud data solutions, data governance, data quality, metadata management, and reference data management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related technical field
  • 2 or more years of experience supporting financial systems, analytics, or data solutions
  • 1 or more years of experience developing or supporting data solutions on Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms
  • Experience participating in cross-functional projects or technology implementations
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
  • Ability to collaborate across business and technical teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Waterfall, and Agile methodologies
  • Foundational understanding of data governance principles and best practices
  • Experience translating business requirements into data transformations, reporting solutions, or curated datasets
  • Experience supporting one or more data foundation disciplines such as Data Quality, Metadata Management, or Reference Data Management

Additional Information

The candidate must be able to work within the Eastern or Central Standard Time zones.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$80,900 - $110,300 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
