What you'll do...
Role summary:
The Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance, plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of Walmart facilities and equipment through routine preventive maintenance and timely repairs. This position involves diagnosing issues, managing maintenance schedules, overseeing less-experienced associates, and coordinating with contractors to meet quality and safety standards. The role requires expertise in multiple craft skills, adherence to regulatory requirements, and effective documentation of maintenance activities. The Senior Technician also supports training initiatives and contributes to continuous improvement efforts to maintain operational excellence across company locations.
What you'll do:
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment using multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Lead and oversee work of less-experienced associates, providing hands-on training and guidance.

The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.








Minimum Qualifications...

Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
