Brief Overview of Position:Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for the Senior Technical Writer role that serves the organization. This role could be filled both onsite at a Government facility or at a contractor provided facility.
Primary Responsibilities:The Senior Technical Writer serves as lead technical writer supporting Service Advisories, System Status notifications, user guides, SOPs, training materials, communications products, and major incident communications.
Additionally, in this position you will:
- Lead technical communication strategy.
- Develop executive-level communications.
- Produce service and user guides.
- Manage emergency communication products.
- Support after-hours communications requirements.
- Coordinate stakeholder review and approval cycles.
- Mentor junior writers.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or related field.
- Five (5) years technical writing experience in an IT environment.
