As a Senior Technical Water Resources & Stormwater Management Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping resilient, sustainable communities across the Greater Toronto Area. You will lead complex stormwater and water resources projects that support infrastructure, mobility, community safety, and climate resilience.

Your Impact
  • Lead the technical delivery of diverse water resources and stormwater management projects.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record and recognized subject matter expert for assigned tasks and projects.
  • Mentor, guide, and support junior and intermediate engineers and technicians.
  • Prepare, review, and present engineering studies, technical memoranda, and reports.
  • Develop and review detailed designs, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively in written reports, presentations, and client discussions.
  • Apply hydrologic and hydraulic modelling expertise to shape project recommendations and design decisions.
  • Contribute to Master Plans, Class Environmental Assessments, and municipal infrastructure studies.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • 8+ years of experience in water resources engineering and stormwater management (consulting experience preferred).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.).
  • Strong understanding of Master Plans and Class Environmental Assessments.
  • Experience with stormwater quantity and quality control for transportation, rail, land development, and municipal works.
  • Proven background in preliminary and detailed design, including stormwater facility retrofits, channel rehabilitation, and hydraulic structure upgrades.
  • Proficiency with HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, and Visual OTTHYMO; experience with InfoWorks ICM considered an asset.
  • Skilled technical writer with the ability to translate complex engineering into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience with Contract Administration considered an asset.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $110,600 - $146,500
  • MB & ON: $100,900 - $139,000
  • NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $99,900 - $132,700
