Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is ideally based in Fort Collins, Colorado at our Engineering Design and Service Center-Advanced Energy's largest U.S. site. We will also consider candidates in the Denver area with periodic travel to Fort Collins. The Senior Technical Recruiter plays a critical role in supporting Advanced Energy's growth by hiring top talent across our U.S. operations. This position owns full-cycle recruiting and partners closely with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders across Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Corporate functions. You'll develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, leveraging best-in-class recruiting practices to quickly attract and secure high-quality candidates in a competitive market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies and techniques using an appropriate combination of direct sourcing, social recruiting, referrals, and other relevant passive recruitment methods.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand the skills and background required for each opportunity, providing expert advice, and coaching throughout the recruitment process.
  • Actively utilize all recruitment channels to form a knowledge base of where to find the best candidates for each role in order to consistently generate a healthy pipeline of high-quality candidates.
  • Review employment applications and resumes. Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews. Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews. Provide timely follow up and correspondence. Manage relationships with third party vendors.
  • Use knowledge of the business and apply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidates.
  • In partnership with the HR Generalist and Business Partner teams, prepare attractive hiring packages, negotiate salaries, and communicate with selected applicants to offer employment.
  • Support college recruiting efforts, as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives, as needed.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This position is onsite in Fort Collins.
  • Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven ability to develop and execute passive and active sourcing strategies for multiple, concurrent searches including the use of LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, campus recruitment efforts, etc.
  • Identifies user groups and professional associations which could lead to qualified candidates.
  • Applies recruiting best practices and knowledge to improve processes and services.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships.
  • Comfortable working in a global and multi-cultural environment focused on innovation, collaboration, and cooperation.


EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of experience as a full cycle recruiter with a focus on technical and other roles, at all levels.


EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, human resources, or related field required


COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 per year.
