Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of technical programs from initiation to delivery.
  • Manage the R&D, NPI and manufacture activities to meet the customer target spec and delivery time schedule.
  • Define program scope, goals, success metrics, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure accountability across all teams.
  • Maintain cost models and drive organizations to improve them.
  • Interface with customers and lead such engagements, including presentations and issue resolution.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and milestones clearly to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and execution efficiency.

Education & Experience
  • Advanced degree in optical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or other opto-electronic discipline.
  • 15+ years in technical program management or product line management

Skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent formal and informal communications skills, including written and oral discussions
  • Ability to function effectively in both technical and business environments.
  • Able to function in English. Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements

Quality and Environmental Responsibilities

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
