Our Technical Program Managers lead programs and initiatives across the division from concept to market. We align product, engineering, and business teams to exceed customer expectations. We are relied on by leaders across the organization to execute critical programs with high business impact.

Technical Program Managers are key contributors to Akamai's success. You will lead projects and develop processes that enable us to measure and improve performance. Your work will directly result in improved customer satisfaction.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the full software development lifecycle and product development process for various solutions
  • Managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs from concept to market including schedule and investment tracking
  • Driving cross-functional activities and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget completion
  • Applying technical knowledge and initiative to contribute actively in collaborative team discussions
  • Utilizing clear written and verbal communication skills to foster trust and facilitate coordinated execution
  • Communicating program status and expectation changes to senior leaders using standardized methods
  • Providing technical guidance, mentorship, and collaborative leadership to cross-functional team members

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $119,600 - $215,400/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
