Location is North Carolina or Southeast US

Your Role:

As a key member of the Customer Applications team, you will play a vital role in advancing our Tangential Flow Filtration and Clarification businesses. You will leverage your expertise in downstream technologies to collaborate with commercial partners and drive the adoption of our innovative technologies. Your strategic insights will be essential in developing initiatives that enhance sales within your designated region. By working closely with Account Managers and Process Development Scientists, you will ensure seamless customer experience, particularly for those testing and trialing our products.

Your understanding of market dynamics and customer needs will enable you to identify strategic opportunities for growth. You will engage with customers both in person and virtually, presenting our expertise while addressing their specific needs. Your contributions will extend to developing and executing regional action plans alongside Field Marketing and Commercial teams. Additionally, you will act as a liaison, sharing customer feedback with leadership to shape our strategies and product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with commercial partners to drive the adoption of TFF/Clarification technologies
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance TFF/Clarification sales in your region
  • Partner with Process Development Scientists to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Assist Field Marketing and Commercial teams in planning and executing regional action plans
  • Identify strategic opportunities for market share growth based on customer insights and market dynamics
  • Develop credibility with customers and colleagues, and use all available tools to position the right product within your portfolio to win new business
  • Expertly deliver technical presentations to customers through both face-to-face and virtual interactions
  • Prepare and validate information required for prioritizing customer projects
  • Act as an ambassador for MilliporeSigma with a collaborative mindset, supporting the broader product range where applicable


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant technical experience in the life sciences industry, along with sales and/or customer facing experience from prospecting to closureWell-versed in downstream processing of biopharmaceuticals, with experience in biological production, including monoclonal antibodies, VGT, recombinant proteins, plasma and other therapeutics
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, adept at managing complex projects with stakeholders
  • 20-30% travel


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters or PHD is preferred
  • Exhibit a customer-focused mindset, coupled with digital agility and proactive, action-oriented behavior
  • Proven expertise with clarification and tangential flow filtration products, and are proficient in demonstrating their use and implementing them into a biopharmaceutical process
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to build strategic relationships effectively


Pay Range for this position: $100,400-167,300

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
