WSP's RPM team is one of the most established and exciting teams in Canada. The team consists of environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, technical experts, and qualified professionals. We have been providing contaminated site program management services to the worlds most technically focused companies for over 15 years. We consistently have backlog of 9 to 12 months and provide growth opportunities for our high performing team members. We specialize in health and safety, Phase I/II ESAs, risk assessment and remediation. Our team takes on the biggest Canadian projects from coast to coast to coast. The projects range in type, size and complexity, and the successful candidate will be able to utilize the team strengths to manage a large amount of field work efficiently and effectively.
WSP has a new opportunity for a Senior Technical Advisor focusing on Upstream Oil and Gas sites to join our Remediation Program Management team based in Edmonton or Calgary. This new opportunity will allow you to develop and implement innovative closure plans for contaminated sites, act as a technical lead, and mentor junior staff.
Your Impact- Developing plans to progress Upstream Oil and Gas sites to closure or developing risk management plans
- Reviewing reports prepared by others
- Engaging with stakeholders, including regulators
- Fostering the development of new and emerging innovations to remain the trusted leader in site closure
- Mentoring junior staff in conducting environmental site assessment, remediation, and closure activities
The Skills That Set You Apart- Post-secondary Degree in Environmental Sciences or related
- A minimum of twenty years experience in environmental consulting, specializing in Upstream Oil and Gas
- Strong awareness of health and safety issues and a safety conscious attitude
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the desire to work in a collaborative team
- Professional registration
- Subsoil Salinity Tool Certification
CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $132,700 - $175,800
MB & ON: $121,100 - $166,700
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $119,900 - $159,200
