Opportunity OverviewThe Performance Senior Team Leader in Tailored Branch Support leads a small team of Solution Specialists and partners with Team Leaders to support underperforming associates. This role focuses on performance recovery through targeted coaching, customized development plans, and structured support to help associates return to consistent productivity. It reinforces accountability, standards, and behavioral alignment while collaborating closely with frontline leadership.
Senior Team Leaders operate with a high level of autonomy and influence, leading complex initiatives, driving department priorities, and making key decisions with minimal oversight. They mentor leaders, manage high-risk stakeholder relationships, contribute to transformation efforts, and can step in as interim Department Leader when needed.
What You'll Do:- Performance Recovery: Identify at-risk associates, assess root causes, deliver targeted coaching, and implement tailored improvement plans to support successful reintegration.
- Training & Upskilling: Provide focused retraining on quality, productivity, systems, and SOPs while improving training approaches to address gaps.
- Behavioral Coaching: Address attendance, engagement, and conduct issues; reinforce expectations and company values; and partner with HR on compliance and documentation.
- Leader Partnership: Support leaders with coaching strategies and performance management, reducing time spent on prolonged issues.
- Data & Insights: Track outcomes, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to processes and training.
- Project Management: Lead department and division initiatives, align team efforts to priorities, and implement change through effective planning and execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Build relationships across teams, advocate for branch needs, and support an optimal client experience.
Travel Requirements: Will be asked to travel to participate in meetings, training sessions, etc.
Position RequirementsWhat Experience You Need:- Series 7 license is required (SIE and Series 7 Top Off)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years leadership experience in financial services industry or 2+ years financial services experience along with 3+ years of non-industry specific leadership experience or successful completion of Leadership Development course required
- A diverse background across numerous areas of the division, firm, and/or industry is a plus. Experience in more than one Service area preferred, or equivalent breadth and depth of Service knowledge, with demonstrated proficiency of increasingly complex responsibilities.
- Advanced coaching and conflict management skills
What Could Set You Apart:Please note that the hours for this position will support the MST/PST time zones and will be 9-6pm CST.
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
