Full Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a sophisticated client base consisting primarily of high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses. This role requires strong technical expertise in complex individual taxation, proactive tax planning capabilities, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor while managing client relationships and mentoring staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review complex individual, trust, estate, and related entity tax returns (Forms 1040, 1041, partnerships, and S corporations).
  • Provide proactive tax planning and consulting for high-net-worth individuals and multi-generational families.
  • Advise clients on income tax, estate and gift tax, wealth transfer, and trust planning strategies.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of high-value clients.
  • Research and resolve complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly to clients.
  • Coordinate tax engagements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality client service.
  • Mentor, develop, and review the work of tax staff and senior accountants.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client tax positions and enhance firm service offerings.
