Job DescriptionWhat Work You Will be Responsible For: - Organizing and cleansing client data tax department
- Preparing and filing state and local tax returns throughout the US
- Interacting with clients as well as state tax authorities
- Managing registrations and business licenses for clients
- Interacting with other state and local tax professionals as well as other professionals at the firm
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to work well in group atmosphere, as well as being able to work independently as needed
- Ability to see the big picture/put yourself in the clients position
- Ability to identify solutions to issues and be creative/able to think outside the box
Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of experience of Sate and Local Tax experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent field
- Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis
Preferred/Desired Qualifications: - CPA is a plus
- Master's Degree in Accounting
- JD or LL.M

For Minnesota and Illinois, the expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $115,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
