Your role at Baxter
As a Senior Tax Analyst, Transfer Pricing, you will join Baxter's global Corporate Tax organization and play an important role in supporting transfer pricing activities across a complex international business. Working closely with tax, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, R&D, legal, and treasury teams around the world, you will help ensure Baxter's intercompany transactions comply with global transfer pricing regulations and support the company's worldwide operations.
This role offers broad exposure to Baxter's global supply chain and international tax structure, making it an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to deepen their transfer pricing expertise while working cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business.
This is a hybrid role based in Deerfield, IL.
What you'll be doing
Assist in the preparation and review of global transfer pricing documentation in partnership with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
Support the implementation and ongoing administration of Baxter's global transfer pricing policies in accordance with IRS Section 482 regulations and OECD guidelines.
Prepare and update intercompany agreements to ensure alignment with transfer pricing policies and business operations.
Assist in developing and implementing transfer pricing methodologies related to products, manufacturing services, management services, and intellectual property transactions.
Support global tax planning initiatives and strategic projects from a transfer pricing perspective.
Help respond to IRS and foreign tax authority audits by gathering information, preparing analyses, and coordinating documentation requests.
Partner with accounting, FP&A, treasury, legal, supply chain, and broader tax teams to facilitate effective communication and resolution of transfer pricing matters.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives designed to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of transfer pricing processes.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
3+ years of experience in transfer pricing, international tax, or corporate tax within a consulting, public accounting, or corporate environment preferred.
Understanding of transfer pricing principles, intercompany transactions, and global tax regulations.
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and translating complex tax concepts into practical business solutions.
Experience with ERP, consolidation, or financial reporting systems such as JD Edwards, HFM, or similar platforms is a plus.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 -$110,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
