Job DescriptionWe are seeking motivated and experienced Senior Tax Analyst who is interested in joining our world class Corporate Tax team. You will be responsible for providing tax provision, compliance and planning support to assist the business in achieving its goals in a tax-efficient manner. You will be responsible for working on our tax compliance and reporting as well as process improvements to scale tax operations. You will help contribute to the design and implementation of ongoing systems improvements and automated tools critical to future growth of the tax department. You must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and to work closely and proactively with numerous functional teams across our organization. This position will be remote and will report to the Senior Tax Manager.
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision workpapers, and supporting workpapers which include ASC 718 calculations, ASC 740-10 calculations, and tax account roll-forward schedules
- Prepare income tax journal entries, account reconciliations, and quarterly variance analyses
- Prepare income tax return workpapers
- Coordinate and review US and state income tax returns prepared by outside service providers
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through use of tools such as Alteryx; drive efficiency and effectiveness both independently and through collaboration with other tax and technology specialists
- Oversee SOX testing of tax department controls
- Assist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities in connection to notices and examinations
Qualifications- 6+ years of experience working with a broad range of tax issues facing large multinational corporations, including public accounting, law firm, and/or industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Master's degree in Taxation or CPA a plus
- Strong technical tax and ASC 740 knowledge with demonstrated experience in tax provision and compliance
- Strong Excel skills and knowledge of tax software such as OneSource tax provision is preferred
- Experienced in research, analysis and documentation of complex tax issues
- Experienced in SAP, Blackline, Microsoft Power BI and Alteryx is a plus
- Strong project management skills, demonstrated by consistently meeting deadlines and effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated, with strong collaboration and communication skills, who also takes direction well
