Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA Corporation is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst who will be a significant part of the technology-minded and efficiency-focused income tax compliance team. This person will be part of a team responsible for meeting KLA’s domestic compliance tax return requirements and specifically work with items related to the US taxation of international income. We are looking for a multifaceted individual who can communicate effectively across various functional areas and has excellent hands-on problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the compliance calculation of GILTI, FDII, Subpart F Income, US foreign tax credits, and other US taxable items.

  • Take part in preparation of US international tax forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, and 1118).

  • Help prepare amended US tax returns resulting from foreign tax changes.

  • Analyze period to period changes of taxable items and identify causes of the changes.

  • Perform research on tax legislation and identify impacts.

  • Participate in the tax technology initiative to transform tax process and workflow.

  • Collaborate and team with cross-functioning teams to gather information necessary to calculate the related tax return items and provide tax support.

  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master's level degree in Business Taxation, and/or CPA preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of combined Big 4 and/or industry experience required with focus on income and international tax compliance.

  • Relevant international tax experience.

  • Technical understanding of GILTI, FDDEI, Subpart F, and FTC.

  • Experience with the Thomson Reuters OneSource software suite (Income Tax, DataFlow, Workpapers, etc.), or comparable software.

  • Ability to use and navigate the SAP system.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

  • Knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.

  • Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.

  • Effective ability to apply best practices to organize and prioritize tasks.

  • Ability to work independently as well as with collaborators.

  • Multifaceted, meticulous, and analytical problem solver with goal towards efficiency and operational improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors' Degree plus 5 years' experience or Masters' Degree plus 3 years' experience or PhD plus 0 years' experience

Base Pay Range: $84,400.00 - $143,500.00 Annually
