Description

Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated, relationship-driven, and creative Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this is a full-time, onsite role based in Matawan, New Jersey.

This is not a traditional recruiting role.

As a rapidly growing healthcare organization, one of our greatest competitive advantages is our people, especially the exceptional Providers who care for our patients every day.

A major focus of this role will be identifying, engaging, and recruiting high-performing clinical providers, particularly Physical Therapists (PTs), who align with our unique culture of "Be Better Every Day."

We are looking for someone who understands that recruiting top clinical talent requires more than posting jobs, it requires relationship building, creativity, persistence, storytelling, and proactive talent engagement.

You will help us build meaningful pipelines of clinical talent, develop innovative ways to engage providers, and create an exceptional candidate experience that makes Alliance the employer of choice for top performers in healthcare.

If you are naturally curious, competitive, creative, outgoing, and energized by finding talent others cannot, this could be an incredible opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare.

What You'll Do

Clinical & Provider Recruiting
  • Lead recruiting efforts for clinical provider roles, with a strong focus on Physical Therapists (PTs) and other key healthcare professionals.
  • Develop creative and proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-performing providers in highly competitive talent markets.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive and active clinical talent through networking, referrals, industry relationships, schools, conferences, LinkedIn, social media, and innovative sourcing methods.
  • Partner closely with operational and clinical leaders to deeply understand provider success profiles, clinic needs, and cultural fit requirements.
  • Help define what "great" looks like for provider talent at Alliance and ensure candidates align with our culture of Be Better Every Day.
  • Build strategic relationships with DPT programs, universities, residency programs, and professional PT associations to strengthen long-term talent pipelines.
  • Create compelling outreach strategies and candidate engagement campaigns that position Alliance as a destination employer for top clinical talent.

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing through offer and onboarding for clinical and operational roles.
  • Screen resumes and conduct candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Partner with hiring managers on interview strategy, hiring decisions, compensation recommendations, and closing top talent.
  • Develop and implement efficient recruiting strategies aligned with business growth needs.
  • Track recruiting metrics and market trends to continuously improve hiring outcomes and speed to hire.

Branding & Candidate Experience
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Alliance Health Systems and bring our culture to life through every candidate interaction.
  • Help build creative recruiting campaigns, social media engagement, referral strategies, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Represent Alliance at career fairs, networking events, clinical programs, and community partnerships.

Compliance & Process Excellence
  • Ensure recruiting practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems.
  • Continuously improve sourcing strategies, recruiting processes, and candidate engagement approaches.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience recruiting clinical or provider talent, ideally including Physical Therapists, healthcare providers, or hard-to-fill clinical roles.
  • Strong ability to proactively source and engage passive candidates.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside traditional recruiting channels.
  • Strong sales mentality with excellent influencing, relationship-building, and closing skills.
  • Exceptional communication and candidate engagement skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Education & Experience

  • 7+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally in healthcare, provider recruiting, or high-volume growth environments.
  • Experience recruiting clinical providers or allied health professionals strongly preferred.
