Full Job Description

The Senior Systems Engineer shall be responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining networks and systems that support Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training environments. They shall ensure network and system capabilities meet operational requirements while complying with applicable DoW policies, accreditation standards, and technical guidelines. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and sustain networks at multiple classification levels, up to TS/SCI, to support LVC training environments.

  • Design and implement network capabilities to meet operational training needs, ensuring usability of VMware environments, virtual stacks, simulator integration, and exercise control systems.

  • Translate operational training requirements into technical network and system designs.

  • Assist in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD-503 accreditation process for newly developed or emerging capabilities.

  • Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise to support integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of LVC training systems.

  • Prepare and submit technical documentation, design artifacts, and reports as required to the Government.

Minimum Requirements and Experience:

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of professional experience in systems and network engineering, preferably supporting DoW or Navy environments.

  • Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience designing, implementing, and sustaining networks at multiple classification levels, up to TS//SCI.

  • Proficiency with VMware environments, virtual stacks, simulator integration, and exercise control systems.

  • Familiarity with RMF/ICD-503 accreditation processes and DoW IT standards.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical reports, design documentation, and briefings for Government stakeholders.

Compensation Details:

US: $130,000 to $135,000
