This position is responsible for ensuring that the North American and Global GSC Demand Planning, Master Production Scheduling Replenishment and Raw Material teams have accurate, efficient, and effective working knowledge to perform their tasks. This includes communicating all changes, assisting to lead successful integrations, and continuous support to Director, Managers-Demand Planning, Demand Planners, Managers-Master Scheduling, Master Schedulers, Managers - Replenishment Planning, Replenishment Planners, Managers - Raw Material Planning and Raw Material Planners.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:
  • Provides guidance and acts as a resource for all members of the Global Supply Chain Services organization as it relates to the Blue Yonder Planning Suite, functionality, and best practices; acts as a resource for other Divisions and Departments as it relates to Finished Good Planning, Master Scheduling, and Raw Material Planning.
  • Creates and delivers employee onboarding and continuous education training in parallel with management; manages and fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment ensures the appropriate training tools are standardized and in place for the North American and Global Demand Planning, Master Production Scheduling, Replenishment, and Raw Material Planning teams.
  • Analyzes learning requirements for key stakeholder groups domestically and globally; translates needs into training offerings/recommendations.
  • This position will support and contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of Blue Yonder Supply Chain systems integrated with Oracle eBusiness Suite (BIOS).
  • This role will be responsible to train key users on functionality with supply chain planning tools.
  • Provides details and training requirements as it relates to acquisitions and integrations of the Blue Yonder Planning Suite, functionality, and best practices for all regions of Sherwin Williams; coordinates requirements or enhancements needed for training purposes with IT support and Business leads.
  • Establishes evaluation tools assessing comprehension of training; develops, updates, and maintains all training documents for North America and Global teams - material and online; conducts training on the Blue Yonder Planning Suite and all other relevant Supply Chain applications. Works outside of business hours (evenings and weekends) relative to job demand needs to support North American and Global Demand Planning, Master Production Scheduling, Replenishment and Raw Material teams.


Travel Requirement: Up to 30%

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree or current enrollment in college program preferred. Comparable business experience considered.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • 3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain or related field
  • Solid understanding and/or hands on experience in the following areas: Sales & Ops planning, forecasting, production inventory planning and scheduling or VMI.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics
  • MBA and / or APICS certification
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification
  • Previous Training or Management experience
  • Supply Chain System Knowledge: Ex. (Supply Chain Planner, Demand Manager, Business Objects, QAD, AOM, AWCS, MES.)
  • The ability to learn new applications and business concepts then transfer this knowledge to others through various training mediums.
  • The ability to motivate and gain participation during training sessions to ensure that each participant perceives the session as a valuable learning experience.
  • The ability to be flexible. This position supports three planning groups directly and many more indirectly, all of which may have different strategies along with different challenges.
  • The ability to establish positive working relationships with peers, supervisors, and support groups outside the department.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks at hand and make choices that will build a strong team with defined business.
