Senior Supply Specialist

Moog's Military Aircraft Group is seeking a
Senior Supply Chain Specialist to support the material requirements of our Military Aftermarket Division. This role encompasses procurement and management of Test Equipment, Tooling, Non-OEM components, and Repair & Overhaul projects.
To be considered for this role, here's what you would typically bring:- Bachelor's degree in related field of study plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience OR associate's degree in related field of study plus a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including customers and suppliers
- This includes PO placement and leading negotiations with external customers or suppliers.
- Deep knowledge of procurement processes including but not limited to PO placement, RFQ/RFP requirements, quality assurance, customer flow-down requirements, parts scheduling, and management, DDMRP processes/inputs.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawing requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and follow Supply Chain regulations/procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Requires less than 10% travel
As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will:- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to support program requirements.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring inclusion of Moog, technical, quality assurance, and customer flow-down requirements.
- Analyze supplier proposals to assess compliance and value.
- Lead contract negotiations, with a strong understanding of complex terms and conditions.
- Conduct project review meetings with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality and delivery expectations.
- Monitor and resolve Engineering Change Orders prior to final delivery.
- Serve as a liaison to address issues related to vendor payments and contractual matters.
- Generate and manage Purchase Order documentation in alignment with Government Compliance Checklist requirements, including order entry as needed.

Salary Range Transparency:Buffalo, NY $85,000.00-$115,000.00 Annually
