The Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations supporting multiple restaurant brands, ensuring exceptional service levels, optimal costs, and uninterrupted product availability. Reporting to the SVP of Supply Chain and Product Development, this role leads to the strategic and tactical management of supplier, distributor, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution partnerships while supporting enterprise growth, menu innovation, and operational excellence.
This position serves as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and distribution partners, directing the execution of Limited Time Offers (LTOs), seasonal menu changes, and new product introductions. The Senior Supply Chain Manager is accountable for maintaining supply continuity, minimizing inventory obsolescence, controlling inbound freight and distribution costs, improving supplier performance, and driving continuous improvements across the supply chain network.
Qualifications:
*Must have good communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization
*Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or Culinary (preferred)
*7+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, distribution, or logistics experience
*Demonstrated experience managing distributor and supplier relationships.
*Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in pricing, sourcing, freight management, and inventory optimization.
*Proficiency in supply chain systems, ERP platforms, forecasting tools, and data analysis.
*Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Essential Functions:
Distribution & Logistics Management
*Manage strategic relationships with distribution partners to ensure best-in-class service to restaurant operations.
*Direct day-to-day distributor activities to support product availability, menu launches, and operational execution.
*Oversee inbound freight management and transportation costs while identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
*Ensure effective movement, storage, and distribution of products across the supply chain network.
Inventory & Supply Planning
*Manage inventory levels to ensure continuous supply while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
*Coordinate forecasting and replenishment activities for core, seasonal, and promotional products.
*Support planning activities related to new product launches, menu transitions, and business growth initiatives.
Supplier & Procurement Management
*Lead supplier sourcing, procurement, and relationship management for food, packaging, ingredients, smallware's, and other operational categories.
*Drive supplier performance through quality, service, cost, and reliability metrics.
*Identify and implement product cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
*Negotiate and manage supplier agreements to deliver favorable economics and long-term value.
LTO & Menu Change Execution
*Consolidate and communicate Limited Time Offers (LTOs), seasonal menu changes, and product introductions across supplier and distribution networks.
*Ensure successful planning, procurement, inventory positioning, and execution of promotional programs.
*Coordinate cross-functionally with culinary, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure launch readiness.
Supply Chain Analytics & Performance
*Monitor and analyze key supply chain performance indicators, including service levels, fill rates, freight costs, inventory turns, and product availability.
*Conduct pricing, cost, and spend analyses to identify savings opportunities and improve financial performance.
*Develop reporting and dashboards that support operational decision-making and business objectives.
*Manage data integrity, supply chain systems, and technology platforms supporting procurement and distribution operations.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
*Ensure supplier compliance with company standards, food safety requirements, product specifications, and regulatory requirements.
*Lead initiatives focused on supply chain efficiency, process improvement, and operational excellence.
*Support implementation of enterprise-wide supply chain programs, policies, and best practices.
*Drive continuous improvement in supplier relationships, distribution performance, and overall supply chain effectiveness.
