Job SummaryAt ConocoPhillips the Lower 48 segment consists of operations located in the 48 contiguous U.S. states, with a portfolio mainly consisting of low cost of supply, short cycle time, resource-rich unconventional plays and commercial operations. The majority of our acreage is unconventional. Based on 2025 production volumes, the Lower 48 is our largest segment and contributed 67 percent of our consolidated liquids production and 74 percent of our consolidated natural gas production.

Position OverviewIf selected as a
SeniorSupply Chain Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and executing sourcing and contracting strategies that support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations across the Lower 48 (L48) business. This position supports Wells (Drilling and Completions) by ensuring services are sourced and delivered through well-structured, competitive agreements that meet business needs.
You will serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, translating operational requirements into effective sourcing plans and contracts while balancing cost, quality, schedule, and supplier performance. This role offers the opportunity to build commercial expertise, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement across Supply Chain processes and supplier performance.
This position can be in Midland or Houston, TX.Your Responsibilities May Include:Deliver Supply Chain Management (SCM) services:- Serve as the primary supply chain liaison for assigned categories, providing responsive and practical solutions that support business priorities.
- Lead development of sourcing strategies and execution plans that align with operational goals, market conditions, and project timelines.
- Analyze category and market dynamics to determine the most effective sourcing approach, balancing cost, risk, and supplier capability.
- Develop and manage work plans and key milestone schedules to support timely execution of sourcing and contracting activities.
- Align supply chain plans with business needs to ensure materials and services are available when required.
- Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities, including use of market intelligence to enhance efficiency, supplier performance, and cost outcomes.
Sourcing / Negotiating / Contracting / SRM:- Sourcing: Develop bid packages and negotiation strategies; lead competitive sourcing events (such as Requests for Proposal) to obtain commercial offerings that meet business requirements, including support for urgent or unplanned needs.
- Contracting: Negotiate and manage contract terms and conditions using standard agreement structures, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Call-Off Orders (COOs), Price Books, and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. Facilitate Field Improvement Team (FIT) discussions and work with suppliers to ensure systems such as Requisition-to-Pay (R2P) function effectively.

QualificationsBasic Requirements:- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- 7 or more years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or a closely related function with direct exposure to sourcing or supplier engagement, including through engineering or cross-functional roles.
- Intermediate level experience conducting Requests for Proposal (RFPs), sourcing evaluations, and post-award contract management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related technical discipline.
- 10 or more years of supply chain management experience supporting upstream oil and gas operations.
- Working knowledge of procurement systems such as GEP.
- Experience performing technical and commercial evaluations to support sourcing decisions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute plans effectively.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into supply chain actions and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
