What You Will Do- Ensure continued operations of production shifts through execution of the production plan and schedules.
- Provide Operations input for production and maintenance planning.
- Ensure adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulations.
- Inspect assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attained.
- Coordinate daily with other Operational and staff areas, including but not limited to Maintenance, Processing, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and Sales
- Directly supervise first-line or shift supervisors.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You Bring To Freeport- High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline and three (3) years of operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
- Additional certifications or licensure appropriate to the job may be required.
- Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques
- Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods, and procedures needed to complete projects.
- Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administration.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

$101,000 - $141,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
