LOCATION: This position requires onsite presence at our project site in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Candidates from anywhere in the United States are encouraged to apply. Per diem is available for eligible traveling employees. Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 ABOUT THE JOB The Tepa Companies are seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations for the rehabilitation of wastewater infrastructure in Yellowstone National Park. The Senior Superintendent will serve as the primary onsite construction leader, overseeing field personnel, subcontractors, construction sequencing, and site logistics to achieve project safety, quality, and schedule objectives. This position requires demonstrated experience leading complex wastewater treatment plant construction. Job Functions: 37 Conducts regular pre-construction/safety meetings with project staff 37 Assists with development project submittals such as site plans, Accident Prevention Plan, and Quality Control Plan 37 Works with project staff to setup the project site with necessary offices, fencing, and other sitework 37 Works with Project Manager to build project schedule and updates throughout project 37 Track production with subcontractors and self-perform staff & enforce recovery when project schedule is not met 37 Meets with Project Manager to discuss project budget and makes suggestions for meeting budget goals 37 Assists with estimating, finding, and soliciting subcontractors, quantity takeoffs when needed 37 Performs constructability reviews on drawings and specifications 37 Manages tasks according to the Three-Phase USACE Quality Control Plan 37 Manages tasks according to the Accident Prevention Plan 37 Conducts daily inspections of jobsite and equipment 37 Prepares 4-Week Look Ahead schedule on a weekly basis in Procore 37 Conducts weekly subcontractor coordination meetings 37 Schedules and coordinate with Quality Control Manager of all inspections and testing 37 Maintains all required documentation and correspondence between client/main office/subcontractor 37 Maintains all daily/weekly logs and inspection sheets to Procore 37 Schedules and coordinates punch list work 37 Coordinates the timely completion of as-builts 37 Closes all site files, notes, and documentation 37 Initiates and coordinates demobilization of equipment and personnel WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 37 High School Diploma or General Education Diploma 37 10+ years of relevant construction experience 37 Previous experience acting as the primary superintendent for projects valued at $20M-$50M+ 37 Previous experience on federal construction projects (USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, VA, NPS, or other federal agencies) 37 Demonstrated experience supervising substantial rehabilitation or ground-up construction of wastewater treatment plants 37 Demonstrated experience overseeing wastewater collection system rehabilitation and underground utility construction 37 Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office 37 Completed OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health and/or EM-385 training within the last 5 years 37 Attendance at a professionally accredited QC management course (e.g. conducted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or Naval Facility Engineering Command, including a current certification within the last five years). 37 Current First aid/CPR certification 37 Ability to pass a drug screen and back ground check in compliance with federal regulation
