Qualifications

• 10+ years of subcontract, procurement, or contract management experience
• Experience with major industrial construction or capital projects
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• SCMP designation is a plus
• Relevant post-secondary education is an asset

Responsibilities

• Develop subcontracting and sourcing strategies with project teams
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards
• Build scopes of work and commercial agreements with stakeholders
• Identify, evaluate, and engage qualified subcontractors
• Manage subcontract performance, changes, invoicing, and claims
• Provide contract and commercial guidance to project teams
• Mentor team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
