We're seeking an experienced Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join and lead our Subcontracts team with Client Canada. This is a strategic role for a commercially minded professional who enjoys leading complex subcontracting packages, developing sourcing strategies, negotiating agreements, and partnering with project teams to drive successful project outcomes. This position may be located at our office in Edmonton

or

Calgary, AB.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Subcontracts Specialist, you'll lead the subcontracting process for major industrial construction projects, helping ensure commercial success from planning through execution.

You will:

  • Develop subcontracting and sourcing strategies with project teams
  • Lead RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards
  • Build strong scopes of work and commercial agreements with internal stakeholders
  • Identify, evaluate, and engage qualified subcontractors
  • Manage subcontract performance, changes, invoicing, claims, and closeout activities
  • Provide contract and commercial guidance to project teams
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Mentor team members and support continuous improvement initiatives


What We're Looking For
