  • Facilitate product and part qualification, including specifications, samples, tooling, first articles, validation, deviation closure, approvals, and production release. Engineering and Quality own technical requirements, validation decisions, and formal approval; you drive supplier response, timing, commercial readiness, escalation, and completion.
  • Secure capacity and launch readiness through reviews, forecasts, lead-time and flexibility commitments, inventory plans, and commercial agreements.
  • Build dual-source and continuity plans for critical parts and single-source risks, coordinating alternate-source qualification with technical and quality teams.
  • Lead supplier reviews, performance improvement, and recovery plans covering quality, delivery, capacity, cost, compliance, and risk.
  • Deliver savings, cost avoidance, working-capital improvement, productivity, and total-cost benefits without compromising quality or continuity.
  • Develop supplier relationships that improve access to capacity, technology, and innovation while meeting legal, ethical, sustainability, and Atlas Copco requirements.

To succeed, you will need

  • Success sourcing, negotiating with, qualifying, onboarding, and ramping suppliers for NPI or production growth.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers and cross-functional teams through qualification and production release.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, cost analysis, total-cost, supplier-performance, and risk-management capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, bills of material, manufacturing processes, and supplier-capability information.
