Full Job Description
As a Senior Strategic Partner Consultant, you will support the profitable growth of Symetra's Stop Loss business by managing and growing relationships with designated national and regional partners. You will bring a strong understanding of the market, Symetra's products and collaboration between sales, account management, and operations teams. This role requires fluency in stop loss products, industry insights, pricing and underwriting guidelines, and ESL workflows. This position is relationship-driven and outcome-focused, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, responsiveness, and proactive problem-solving. By providing national-level support and guidance, the Senior Strategic Partner Consultant helps drive growth, improve persistency, and strengthen both broker and internal partnerships. The Senior Strategic Partner Consultant serves as a strategic sales enablement leader, driving operational excellence and ensuring sales teams are equipped with the resources, insights, and support needed to maximize performance during peak selling periods and throughout the year.

What you will do
  • Ensure data integrity for stewardship and/or partner reporting, and sales system upkeep
  • Act as a trusted extension of the sales team, assisting the (U) Regional Group Managers (U/RGMs) in relationship building and management from a national level
  • Plan and execute on monthly/quarterly checkpoints, annual partner stewardship meetings, industry conferences, partner events and broker advisory board meetings
  • Organize and participate in national and regional meetings with designated strategic partners
  • Follow up on key deliverables and track results to build strong ROI for sponsored events
  • Manage partner supplemental compensation agreements to ensure alignment with mutually agreed upon objectives between partners and Symetra and accuracy of monthly, quarterly and annual payments
  • Travel 30-40% as assigned

Compensation

Base salary: $125,000 annually plus eligibility for Incentive Compensation
